Christy, What do you do?  

I STUDY! I am learning how to do literacy right now. I returned from Cameroon, West Africa in July 2009, and am currently at the Graduate Institute of Applied Linguistics. I am learning what is behind the scenes of Bible Translation, laying a groundwork for further understanding of writing systems and literacy work.
For fun outside of the daily joys of studying, I enjoy ballroom and latin dancing, roller blading, reading while curled up in a lounge chair with a cup of tea, learning other languages, hosting and cooking for my friends, and playing with neighborhood children!
