Christy, I am incredibly proud of where God is taking you. From watching you throughout your life, I know that this really has been an incredible journey thus far. You have proven yourself faithful in the small things and I know that god is leading you on to greater things because of your faithfulness.
As I think of you and the times you have chosen Christ and his best many things come to my mind. Let me name a few...
Singing in the nursing home
Friendships with the Durants, Heather, Adrianne, etc.
praying faithfully and writing in your journal
Participating in Youth Group with Tammy and Al
Leading groups at SIFAT
Resisting various tempataions at SIFAT and in school in Alabama
Caring for and loving Leah so well
Choosing Abstinence
Befriending people at church, school, ESL classes, at the Soup kitchen, Contra Dancing, on teh street, in the store...everywhere
Working in Ecuador
Being not only a champion with humility but showing your testimony in Track at Hope
Giving endless hours of your time to your nieces and nephew to play and create and love
Touching children's and their parent's lives while you taught at Holland by spending extreme amounts of time planning the very best lesson plans.
And finally, trusting God to take you to Africa.
I know there are countless more.
I see you exploding with love and care for God and people around you. I pray that your desire for Christ adm his people be covered in his grace and humility so that you can continue to be his in this world.
