Hello Hello,I have looked over your site and it is great to hear you are so well. The "garden" you have planted is growing in wild and unique directions. Who would have imagined you would be at where are are right now. It inspires me to read my senior sem paper again. Ohh the directions we will head and the places we will go. Superfluous. I have a strong desire to go into prison medicine. I dont know much about it yet, but we had a class that addressed some of the issues. Serving the rankest of the rank, as society views it... Those people are truly the underdogs, most bucked by the system which has marginalized them in the first place. Left behind with no direction to take them forward. Good to get these up dates every so often, it makes it easy to look into your life from time to time.
In recent years, serving the marginalized has become less of a nice idea, and more of a need in order to answer the weaving call that echoes throughout the Bible. The choice to serve those who the world has despised and rejected is one that I believe will open up new insights into the heart of God and draw one ever closer to his side. I'm honored, truly, to know someone who is ready and willing to experience the burden Jesus felt when he had compassion on the multitudes. So many of us are too insecure or too comfortable to even want to see that side of human suffering. Thanks for sharing, Dave!
